OUR PHILOSOPHY
Funky Monkey swung into Diani in July of 2022, adding a new vibrant cocktail bar, restaurant and music venue to the Diani Beach scene. Following the success of Funky’s sister site ‘The Salty Squid Beach Bar & Restaurant’, a beach front venue with excellent views matched by the quality of food, cocktails and service.
Funky Monkey came to life to offer locals and travelers alike a taste of international cuisine with fast, professional and friendly service in the heart of Diani Beach. More than just a bar — a refreshing take on Kenyan hospitality, combining a great team with modern design, world cuisine, craft cocktails, international training, and standards.
